Maas Gallery

maasgallery.co.uk

The Maas Gallery in Clifford Street London was established in 1960 by Jeremy Mass and since 1996 has been owned and run by his son Rupert. It deals in Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite, Romantic and Modern British art, and the work of a handful of living artists including the Painter Sarah Adams.

Coolgrey designed and developed the Maas Gallery site to make the most of the gallery's fabulous collection of paintings,. A full-width panel that extends to fill two thirds of the screen depth initially displays a handsome image of the gallery interior before moving on to show details from a selection of the gallery's stock. The header also links to other areas of the site to augment the classic menu navigation.

All content on the site can be easily edited and updated by gallery staff and the content management system includes a bespoke module to import data from the gallery's stock database enabling easy preparation of online exhibition catalogues.

Completely re-designing our website seemed like a daunting prospect, but working with Coolgrey made the entire project straight-forward and quick. Not only did they understand the very specific design I had in mind, but were also responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. I’m delighted with the new website, and look forward to working with them again.
